Okanagan Similkameen Conservation AllianceThe Okanagan Similkameen Conservation Alliance (OSCA) is a charitable non-profit society dedicated to conservation outreach in the South Okanagan and Similkameen...

OSCA’s mission is to conduct educational outreach initiatives promoting community environmental awareness and land management practices that benefit species and habitats at risk in this region. In addition to the Meadowlark Nature Festival, OSCA operates multiple community outreach programs year round:

ECOstudies Program - provides environmental education in the classroom and in the field to thousands of elementary school children.

Spotlight on Species Program - brings together biologists and stewardship specialists to encourage public awareness of threats to species at risk and the importance of protecting wildlife habitat.

ECOmanagement Program - works with industry groups offering industry meetings and special workshops that promote the adoption of land use practices that benefit the environment. The program also offers educational seminars on community planning to encourage environmentally sustainable planning for rural areas in the South Okanagan and Similkameen.

OSCA Outreach Centre - provides quick environmental tips and advice both online and in office for residents, visitors, agricultural workers, developers, government officials and businesses....

...and that isn’t all that OSCA does! Visit the website to find out more.
